Is Right Sector’s Dmytro Yarosh ready to rule over Ukraine?

The inept US/EU funded, Nuland constructed, government in Ukraine is failing so miserably that a massive power vacuum has emerged in Kiev.

Of course the US State Department and CIA are experts in keeping corrupt, unpopular foreign governments in power for decades, but that model has mostly been used in Latin America and Africa…Ukraine is a whole different animal.

With each passing day Porky and Yats are inching ever closer to a life in Miami under US Federal Government protection, which leaves perhaps one man ready to seize power, Right Sector’s Dmytro Yarosh.

Of course, as with all things Ukraine, nothing is simple, and Yarosh’s Right Sector is a nationalist/neo-nazi organisation that has committed unspeakable crimes. Not popular with the Kremlin and distancing himself from EU/Brussels Oligarchs, Yarosh could be a problematic figure for both West and East.

Yarosh is sounding more like a politician with each passing day, and in an odd way is reaching out to the Donbass…as both Right Sector and Novorussia may have realised that they share one common enemy, the Kiev western puppet government.

Right Sector leader Yarosh declared himself in favor of Ukraine’s non-aligned and against joining the EU and NATO. This position diverges from the official Kiev stance, but it converges with that of the Ukrainian opposition, including the Donbass insurgents. Yarosh also made a conciliatory reference to the “Donbass miners.”

“The Right Sector has not been and is not in favor of Ukraine joining the EU. We believe that Ukraine ought to be a subject, not an object, of geopolitics. We are in favor of Ukraine’s non-aligned status. Like the Donbass miners, we are against NATO bases in Ukraine, which means we are against Ukraine’s NATO membership. We are talking both to people who favor the EU and those who desire an alliance with Russia. I’d like to emphasize: we are in favor of Ukraine’s non-aligned status,” Yarosh said on TV channel Ukraine.

Yarosh also said that the Right Sector will not march on Donetsk. “Donbass is our own, Ukrainian land, therefore I am counting on normal relations with people who live there. I have no problem entering into a dialogue with the miners, I myself come from the Dnepropetrovsk Region. It’s not all cut and dried in the Donetsk Region. These very miners in 1989-1990 played an important role ensuring USSR fell apart and Ukraine became an independent country,” Yarosh argued.

“They are plotting a new ‘revolution’ in Kiev and Dmytro Yarosh is ready to give his fellow Ukrainians a set of new guidelines for revolutionary changes in the country,” Alexei Pushkov wrote on his Twitter account.

In a comment posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday Dmytro Yarosh, the leader of the Right Sector ultranationalist group, banned in Russia, wrote that “the old-new team of the president, the government and parliament, now at the helm in Kiev, is unable to implement much-needed social reforms.”

Hundreds of Ukrainian right-wingers rallied in Kiev on Tuesday to protest against government policies in the wake of a deadly stand-off between radical nationalists and police in the country’s west.

“We are an organized revolutionary force that is opening a new phase of the Ukrainian revolution,” Yarosh told the rally.

He also called for a referendum to impeach President Petro Poroshenko and his government.

It may well be that, since Ukraine appears to be doomed to a loose confederation of Novorossiya and Banderland (for lack of a better word), Yarosh is simply auditioning to be the acceptable (to Moscow) candidate for the post of the head of Banderland. His statements concerning Ukraine’s non-aligned status appear to be aimed at that audience, given that is the main strategic objective that the Kremlin is pursuing. The Right Sector did not lose its collective mind. On the contrary, it may have finally found it.

Also, Yarosh’s move I think confirms he is not the creature of Kiev, Berlin, or Washington. He is and has been an independent political operator in his own right whose services are and have always been for sale for the highest bidder. Since neither Washington nor Kiev are prepared to bid very much in order to retain his loyalty, he’s evidently decided to explore viable alternatives. It also helps that the Right Sector is not as stridently Nazi as, say, Biletsky’s Azov who is not someone with whom DPR, LPR, or the Kremlin would ever do business. But Yarosh has positioned himself pretty cleverly by not embracing the ideology of Great Ukraine nearly as strongly as Biletsky.
