The Kentucky State Representative, Dan Johnson, who was under investigation for alleged sexual molestation, committed suicide on Wednesday evening.

Johnson’s body was discovered on a bridge in Mt. Washington. A gun was also recovered on his person.

On Tuesday, Johnson had stated that he had no intention of resigning and giving up his seat.

Johnson was accused of molesting a 17-year-old girl at Heart of Fire Church in 2013, where he was the pastor. He was never charged over the accusations, but was under investigation.

“I think it is the season. Last election it seemed to be racism. This one seems to be sexual impropriety. If the police or anyone involved had thought that this was a real case, don’t you think they would have pursued that? There is no way they would have let up if they thought there was something to it,” Johnson had said, according to a report from the Independent.

Around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Johnson posted what appears to be his suicide note on Facebook, in which he still maintained his innocence. He had previously called the allegations “part of a smear campaign against Republicans.”

The full text of the post, which appears to now be deleted, reads as follows:

“The accusations from NPR are false GOD and only GOD knows the truth, nothing is the way they make it out to be. AMERICA will not survive this type of judge and jury fake news . Conservatives take a stand. I LOVE GOD and I LOVE MY WIFE, who is the best WIFE in the world,My Love Forever ! My Mom and Dad my FAMILY and all five of my kids and Nine grandchildren two in tummies and many more to come each of you or a total gift from GOD stay strong, REBECCA needs YOU . 9-11-2001 NYC/WTC, PTSD 24/7 16 years is a sickness that will take my life, I cannot handle it any longer. (2) Forgive and Love everyone especially yourself .(3)most importantly LOVE GOD. P.S. I LOVE MY FRIENDS YOU ARE FAMILY ! GOD LOVES ALL PEOPLE NO MATTER WHAT !”

Too bad if he killed himself. I do not like to see the enemies of sanity and decency win battles by default.

A casualty of the new culture of lies and deceit…that is championed by the biggest purveyors of said lies and deceit, the mainstream media….who give the filthy little minds outlet without verification – maybe because they have come to consist of putrid little minds themselves…FREE SPEECH you MORONS does not support rabid ‘calumny and detraction’….

Flight is evidence of guilt. And suicide is flight.

I’m a pretty good judge of people’s eyes and expressions. IMO, this man was guilty of what he was accused. If you read his #1 thing…”blame no person…” He wants people to blame Satan. In short, no one should take responsibility for their actions and he certainly wasn’t taking responsibility for his. Remember Flip Wilson’s “The Devil made me do it”. I believe he committed suicide because he knew he would be found guilty.
