Parents beware, your kids are going hungry and they are blaming Michelle Obama.
As the school year got underway in parts of the country, some kids are sounding off on Twitter via a new hashtag: #BringBackOurSnacks. They are irked at the empty vending machines, the soda-less drink choices and the overall lack of junk food—and they’re threatening to skip lunch altogether if they’re going to be force-fed whole grains and fresh fruits.
S/O to my girl @MichelleObama I’m sure that burger tastes a lot better than my lunch pic.twitter.com/VXgrEffS5B

Some nutritionists and parents back Michelle Obama’s three-year crusade against childhood obesity. She has pushed hard to get kids to cut back on sugars and trans fats and exercise more. The kids that have to now eat the new lunch menus are pissed and they are taking to twitter to let the First Lady know it…

Kids definitely need to cut down on junk and start exercising…no doubt about it, but some of the food shown in the tweets looks plain nasty and really unhealthy.
