While most of the media world was focused on NBC’s shocking firing of Matt Lauer for sexual harassment claims, CNN fired senior producer Teddy Davis over multiple harassment allegations.

Washington Post reporter Paul Farhi tweeted…

“And in still more harassment news: @cnn tells me it dismissed Teddy Davis, senior producer of @jaketapper‘s “State of the Union” program, over behavior “that does not align with the standards and values of CNN.” Three women had complained about Davis.”

Via Hollywood Reporter…

“A comprehensive investigation was conducted as soon as this matter was brought to our attention. The behavior attributed to Mr. Davis does not align with the standards and values of CNN and Mr. Davis is no longer with the company,” a CNN spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday.

Davis served as producer on the network’s State of the Union, hosted by Jake Tapper, prior to his termination.

According to a source at CNN, the network’s internal investigation into Davis surfaced instances of the ousted producer making fellow colleagues uncomfortable. There were no reports of physical or sexual assault.

CNN’s Jake Tapper confirmed the report via twitter…

“This tweet is accurate. When CNN executives were told about these complaints, they reacted swiftly and appropriately, as they should. Workplaces need to be safe and I am fully supportive of CNN’s action.”

Fired, disgraced, broke and out of work former CNN employee Kathy Griffin sent a bizarre tweet directed at Tapper which under normal circumstances would just be brushed off as another Griffin tirade against the patriarchy, but with sexual scandals breaking on a daily basis…who knows , even crazy Griffin may know something salacious about her former workplace and colleagues.

The Gateway Pundit reports that Griffin replied to Tapper’s tweeted confirming Davis’ firing with “Tick tock, Jake. XXOO,KG.”

Is Tapper next to get rocked by a sex scandal?

First, when the Lauer news dropped, the comedian has this to say:

“Hi kids. AnyWhoooooo it’s actually way bigger than Matt Lauer. Hey, @jfb, remember at the dinner party when you said NBC wouldn’t consider a woman to host Meet the Press? I suggested Maddow and you, how shall I say, LOST IT, a little? XXOO, KG”

Griffin then tweeted this to CNN’s Jake Tapper…

One twitter user replied, “Say it’s not so Jake. I can deal with Chris Sabian (Spacey) and Dr Huxtable, but not my source for realism against the orange!”

Tapper weighed into the conversation…“It’s not so! No idea what she’s talking about. Maybe just how inevitably there will soon be another — but it sure won’t be me.”

This prompted another twitter user to reply…“How can she get away w/this? And the tick tock shit us straight outta hannity bs.”

For which Tapper simply stated…“She’s had a rough year, I can’t begin to understand what’s going on.”
