NFL stadiums empty as identity politics eats away at football ticket sales

When millionaire athletes virtue signal, this is the result.

Several NFL stadiums around the NFL were near empty during week 7 of the season, as fan backlash stemming from the national anthem controversy continues to hit the ticket sales.

This is what happens when identity politics infects your organizations…everything goes to hell. The NFL and its players are learning that virtue signaling has its price.

If you thought this was a one week blip, then you are mistaken. Week 6 was just as bad for NFL game attendance.

Breitbart News reports…

Note, that the Jets played New England on Sunday, meaning there should have been a big crowd for that game. The Texans, Atlanta, and Baltimore are also very relevant teams with relatively loyal fan bases. Yet, thousands upon thousands of fans no-showed or didn’t buy tickets for those games.
