Red Pill Man of the Week

David Brat

David really did slay Goliath. The victory of Tea Party candidate and humble economics Professor David Brat sent shockwaves across all of the D.C. establishments. Here was a man sick and tired of the broken promises, cronyism, and elitism of capital hill, that he decided to run in the Virginia Republican Primary against one of the most powerful Republican of them all, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor.

And he won!  Eric Cantor called it quits and David Brat pulled off the biggest primary election victory the U.S. has seen in decades, proving that democracy is alive and well.

Runners Up:

The San Antonio Spurs

When a group of men work together in unison then look out. The San Antonio Spurs were the epitome of team effort. It was difficult to single out just one player, they won the Championship together.

On the biggest stage, they didn’t just deliver, they dominated. The Spurs got contributions from their entire roster, no Heat shots came easy in the half court, and the Spurs turned a 16-point deficit into a blowout with a barrage of 3-pointers. Tony Parker missed his first 10 shots and this one was still over in the third quarter. The better team won.

Robin van Persie

The Brazil World Cup is in full swing as first round games are now being played and no game was bigger than The Netherlands taking on the world reigning champs Spain.

Looking to win an unprecedented four major football titles in a row (Euro 2008, World Cup 2010, Euro 2012), Spain ran into an orange buzz saw called Holland. Not only did the Dutch dismantle the Spanish side 5-1 but van Persie gave us a goal for the ages. The man was a fly in the paella all game long for the Spanish. They simply had no answers for van Persie and his group of orangemen.

Elon Musk

It was a good week to be Elon Musk, in what has been a remarkable year for the Tony Stark like entrepreneur.

Musk’s SolarCity announced that it purchase Silevo, a solar panel manufacturing company, and said it wants to build one of the world’s largest solar plans in New York state.

Likewise the New Jersey Assembly passed a bill that would allow Tesla to resume sales of its cars in the state.  And if that was not enough, shares of the two companies rallied after a report in The Financial Times said Tesla’s electric car rivals Nissan and BMW could look to collaborate on a charging network.

Musk is the CEO of Tesla and serves as the chairman of the board at SolarCity…that is red pill to the max.

Michael Schumacher

He is finally out of his coma and we simply say rest and get well Michael.

Blue Pill Man of the Week

Tony Blair

tony-blair
The more Tony Blair opens his mouth the more he sounds like a giant douche. He followed Bush into Iraq under false pretences, destabilised the country (and most of the Middle East) and now, as it all comes back to haunt the world, Tony Blair posted an article on his website that was, as the English say BULLOCKS!

Blair has the gaul to blame the current crisis in Iraq on the very puppet President he installed there (Nouri al-Maliki), and the balls to try and convince the world to give him a pass on his culpability for the crisis.

On top of the cowardly article he posted, Blair has officially admitted to making millions by consulting world leaders (aka dictators) on how to structure foreign policy so as to curry favor from western governments. Mr. Blair earned £13 million this year from consulting gigs, following his most commercially successful year since quitting Downing Street.

Blair is everything that is wrong with politicians. He is a blue pill, toxic curse on British history and needs to be tried for the crimes he has committed. Until then, he runs around in private jets trying to convince us all that he is an innocent bystander in the unravelling of the Middle East. You sir are far from innocent, and you know it.
