Twitter users who post graphic images of the now viral, and absolutely gruesome, beheading of US journalist James Foley will be suspended, the organisation’s CEO announced in a tweet.
The Islamic State released a video entitled “A message to America” appearing to show the execution of the 40-year-old will be swiftly removed from any twitter feed and account will subsequently be suspended.

Dick Costolo said Twitter had already suspended accounts showing the images.
